Salad Plus

Lunch break is the highlight of my workday. It usually begins with my coworkers and I voting on where we are going to eat or order take out from. Months ago they introduced me to one of their favorite restaurants, Salad Plus. It is located on Dixie highway in Boca. The menu offers different kinds of sandwiches, wraps and salads. The selection includes a ready made salad, or customers can make their own salad, choosing from the type of leaves to be used, down to the croutons they want.

I always order the same thing, a chef salad with bleu cheese dressing. My officemates prefer the grilled chicken Caesar. I will just evaluate the chef salad. It is composed of iceberg lettuce, carrots, Swiss cheese, ham, turkey, bacon, hardboiled egg, tomatoes and black olives.

Ordering food at Salad Plus is hassle free. They don’t put you on hold for a long time, and they have made the dishes correctly every time we have ordered there. They can take your credit card information by phone so that when they deliver all you have to do is sign the receipt. Their delivery service is time efficient.

The verdict? My chef salad is delivered fresh, with extra blue cheese on the side and slightly cold. All the ingredients taste fresh and they combine perfectly in my mouth. The portion size is big enough for me to eat it in two separate sittings. For the price of 7 dollars + tax and tip, I think the food is great.
